Plant Fever

 This is not good ‼️

‼️

The first photo is an anthurium that one of my clients gifted me a few days ago — and I LOVE it. Those dark red flowers with the matching red pistils? I mean… stunning. After some intense “Dr. Google” research, I discovered it’s called Anthurium Lipstick Red
๐Ÿคฉ (as if it wasn’t sassy enough already).
Most anthuriums I see in stores have yellow pistils, so clearly this one is fancy.

But here’s the problem…
I think the plant gave me some kind of virus ๐Ÿ˜ณ
Because today I went to the grocery store and somehow bought… only a plant. No food. No milk. No bread. Just a plant.
Please look at the second photo and witness my condition: a Calathea Medallion.
I fell in love with its big, dramatic leaves, and now I’m about to dive into the Internet like a full-blown botanist and learn how to care for it.

So yes… I obviously have a fever.
A plant fever.
And that’s NOT good‼️ (But also… a little bit amazing.) ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ˜„. #houseplant #anthuriums #calatheas
