How to grow a mango tree from a seed.

To start with it you need a few simple but very important things like: an idea, a mango fruit,  ability to read (to create for your plants necessary conditions), patience, attention and a good mood.
My personal experience of growing mangoes from seeds is easy, fast and definitely you will be successful with that if follow these easy steps.
1. Remove the seed from the fruit and try to maximize clean off the pulp.
2. Carefully remove the core from the seed.
3. Take a hygeinic pad (it's sterile - completely clean and not containing any bacteria that might cause mold and rot. From a healthy core you will get a healthy plant :-)
Then, pre-soaked the pad in warm water (25-30 degrees).

4. Put  the pad with the core in a bowl for 4-5 days. Keep it in a warm place.

5. When a small root goes out in 2-3cm, you can put the core in soil /not deep/.
I’d recommend you using a peat pot.

The peat pot is formed in a cup-shaped peat, and used as a temporary container for growing seedlings of various of plants. Using peat cups prevents damage to the root system of plants while planting it on a permanent pot that accelerates the development of the plant.

6. Organizing a good condition for roots is an important step. What does it mean?
  •  When the roots go out from the bottom of the peat-pot you should put it in a ceramic or a plastic pot which is a little bit bigger than previous one.
  • Figure out if the pot has a hole.
If doesn't, organize it or them. The hole provide the way for extra water to go out ant for air to go in.

  • After that, put drainage in the bottom of the new pot. Drainage is critical to plant health. I use gravel or shingle.
  • And finally, put little soil, the peat-pot, and fill with soil empty space of the pot.

So, you are done.

Mango loves full sun and partial shade. Accustom your young plant to the sun  gradually.
They do not tolerate drying out of the soil and like to frequent spraying the leaves.
In order to feed mango use comprehensive balanced fertilizer with a nitrogen content. Fertilize the plant should be not less than once per season.
The minimum temperature for mangoes +15 C.

This is my mango after 7-8 months, 2 feet (60.96 centimeters)
