Ascocentrum miniatum

This is Ascocentrum miniatum, an intermediate to warm growing orchid. The plants are typically compact and resemble miniature vandas.
As other vanda-like orchids Ascocentrum miniatum is best grown hanged in baskets and on mounted. Due to the lack of the required humidity level in my place it was recommended to keep the orchid's roots in a glass jar and spray them around all sides daily.
Ascocentrum miniatum requires bright to full sunlight, so, it's grown under LED lighting.
Feed it weekly with balanced fertilizer during spring/summer; biweekly during fall/winter; high P formula ("bloom booster") every fourth feeding.
